    Declaration by James Henman of Aspley Heath, gardener, formerly attached to R6/3/6/19: - he was 38 years of age and had lived on Aspley Heath nearly all his life; - on 30 June 1883 Ann Bodsworth conveyed 1 rood, 4½ poles to Joseph George Fisher as shown on an attached plan [R6/3/6/21]; - he was well acquainted with Croyland and the land mentioned in the preceding paragraph formed much of the property; at the plan accompanying the auction sale particulars of 18 August 1888 it was marked as fruit garden; - he had read R6/3/6/1 and the Philip Henman named therein was his uncle; John Bodsworth held the land from then until his death in 1882 and occupied it without interruption; - witnessed by Alfred Clare, commissioner of oaths
