    Attested Copy Conveyance in Trust for Sale Parties: (i) Thomas James Maling of Aspley Guise, esquire; (ii) Edward Hawes of 7 Great Winchester Street Buildings, City of London, gentleman Operative Part: - (i) conveyed (a) to (ii) Property: (a) manorial rights and mineral rights at South Hylton [Durham] and Ford [Durham] comprising Longfield, High Field, Cow Pasture Quarry and waste ground, Low Ford, Pantill Field, Ford Pottery and Low Ford Green in part lying under the River Wear and containing 65 acres, 3 roods, 10 perches including the power to work the coal by sinking shafts through that part of the hereditaments containing 26 acres, 3 roods, 8 perches formerly known as High Field, Long Field and Cow Pasture and on other parts erecting engine houses, agent’s and pitman’s houses; subject to a lease of 9 October 1872 from (i) to Nicholas Raine; (b) land measuring E-W 7 yards and N-S 20 yards with the dwellinghouse erected on it at Hylton Ferry in the occupation of Richard Todd for the residue of 99 years from 13 May 1837 under a lease of 10 July 1837; (c) 1 acre, 3 roods, 19 perches at Aspley Guise bounded: N by the road from Woburn Sands to Aspley Guise; part SE by land of George Goodall; part SE by land of Thomas Bullock Webster; NE by a road leading to Aspley Woods; SW by land of Richard Key Habendum: - to (ii) upon trust for sale, holding the sale money in trust for (i) Witnesses: - Charles Gilbert and Henry Toon, clerks to Ware & Hawes of 7 Great Winchester Street Buildings, London, solicitors
