Declaration by Elizabeth Ann Ireland of 8 Chapel Street, Woburn Sands, widow:
- she was well acquainted with the property on Aspley Heath shown on an attached plan;
- they belonged to her late husband George Ireland who sold land to the west of the cottage to his eldest son Gabriel Alexander Ireland in 1894;
- George Ireland was in uninterrupted possession for many years before the sale to Gabriel Alexander Ireland who was now in uninterrupted possession;
- George Ireland occupied the cottage for more than twenty years before his death on 26 November 1897 in uninterrupted possession;
- Gabriel Alexander Ireland was always known as Gabriel Ireland in the family and was so named in George Ireland’s will
