Admin/biog history
John Herbert Copperwheat was born on 4 January 1885. He married Louisa Palmer at Maulden on the 3rd November 1915. They had two children: Joan Louie Palmer Copperwheat born 1 March 1917 and George William Anthony Copperwheat (Tony) born 5th April 1926. Joan married Kenneth Rawsthorne of Flitwick on 26 June 1940 at the parish church Alnmouth, Northumberland. They had no children and lived in Holland on Sea after the war. Joan died of undiagnosed diabetes on holiday in Austria about 1967. Tony lived with Joan and Ken once he left the army and worked in a hardware shop in Clacton. He never married.
