    Newall withheld tithe 1768/1769 to value of £13 6s.; He occupies house, 100 acres land, 40 acres meadow, 100 acres pasture; 19 cows (milk of each worth 2 shillings 6 pence. per annum); 20 cows (barren); 40 sheep; 160 fallow sheep (tithe of wool worth 50 shillings) 30 lambs (tithe of wool worth 15 shillings); 19 calves (tithe 50 shillings); pigs (tithe 10 shillings); 60 hens (tithe of eggs worth 6 shillings); 60 chickens (tithe 5 shillings); doves (tithe 5 shillings); 10 hives of bees (tithe 10 shillings); 60 bushels of apples (tithe 6 shillings); pears, plums, cherries etc. (tithe 5 shillings); beans, peas, parsnips, cabbages, carrots, potatoes, mint, parsley (tithe 5 shillings). Easter offerings 21 shillings 6 pence.
