    Norman Hughes says that "Thomas Johnson asked him to go with him to Woods' barn - deponent & Johnson went there - they brought away some wheat about three parts of a sack - they took it to Thomas Johnson's House - they got into the barn by putting their hands through a hole in the door and unhasped it - Johnson gave deponent 5 shillings for his (deponent's) part." James Woods of Cranfield says "That on Tuesday night the 16th instant or early on Wednesday morning the 17th the barn on his premises was broken open - deponent discovered that a quantity of wheat had been stolen - his property."
