These photographs were found in a house clearance (65, Beverley Crescent, Bedford) and given to Mr Rooke. They relate to Miss Edith Mary Tod, died 14 February 1995, who was a member of the staff of Bedford Physical Training College for many years. Before coming to Bedford she was at Lord Mayor Treloar's Hospital, at Alton, Hampshire, and an album of snapshot photographs of this hospital were transferred to Hampshire Record Office. Miss Tod was the daughter of Wilfrid Hugh Tod and Mrs Winifred Tod, of the Paddocks, Great Bookham, Surrey. She had a brother, Geoffrey, and a sister, Phyllis
