    Abstract of Title of George Peregrine Nash (I) R6/42/1/16-17 (II) R6/42/1/18-19 (III) R6/42/1/20-21 (IV) R6/42/1/22 (V) R6/42/1/23 (VI) R6/42/1/24-25 (VII) Lease and release of 5 and 6 January 1820 Parties: (i) Peregrine Nash and Mary, his wife; (ii) John Wing; (iii) John Day, trustee for Peregrine Nash; (iv) George Peregrine Nash of Bedford, common brewer, eldest son of Peregrine Nash; (v) Phoebe Nash, spinster; (vi) William Silvester Addington of Goldington Lodge; (vii) Theed Pearse the elder of Bedford, gentleman Reciting: - indentures concerning un-abstracted land as well as R6/42/1/24-25; - in 1819 Peregrine Nash and George Peregrine Nash were partners in equal shares in the brewery business which had, for a long time past, been carried on solely by Peregrine Nash; - Peregrine Nash intended to provide for his other children by other means and wished to make provision for George Peregrine Nash to whom he had assigned all his share in the business in return for an annuity of £420 to Peregrine Nash and £250 annuity to Mary Nash if she survived Peregrine Nash and £40 annuity to (v) Operative Part: - (iv)-(vii) paid 10/- to (i); - (i) exercised powers of appointment in regard to un-abstracted property; - (i) released to (a) (vi) Property: (a) the public house formerly known as the Red Lion, now known as the Bedford Arms in Duck End, Oakley formerly in the occupation of Grace Ekins, then of William Foster; (b) a close of one and a half acres of pasture adjoining (a); (c) land of 3 acres, 3 roods, 8 poles in Church Field, Oakley bounded: E by an allotment to the Duke of Bedford; part S by an allotment to Susanna, wife of Joseph Hornsby; part W by Bedford Road; part N, W and S by the homestead belonging to (a) and by (b); part W by the Town Street of Oakley and part N by ancient inclosures of the Duke of Bedford. This land was allotted to Peregrine Nash on the inclosure of Oakley. Habendum: - to (vi) to the use of (vii) for a term of 2,000 years to the use of trusts established by (iv), to the use of (iv) for his life, remainder to the use of (vi) during the life of (iv) to the use of (iv) for ever; - upon further trust to grant an annuity of £250 to Mary Nash in full satisfaction of dower and thirds; - upon further trust to grant an annuity of £40 to Phoebe Nash
