Messuage in North Street in occupation of Richard Short, blacksmith, abutting east, west, & north on Watling Street, south on tenement of Francis Marsh gent., deceased. Principal not repaid. Property came to Thomas Osborn; then William Fossey (Will 21 May 1712) devised to son Daniel; who devised to granddaughter Deborah Horton; who assigned to Edward Symons of Chaul End, Caddington, farmer; On 3 Jan 1715/6 (i) Symons (ii) NathanielGroome (iii) Richard Leach of Leighton Buzzard, shopkeeper, residue of term assigned to Leach on death of survivor of Nathaniel & Mary Groome; 17 July 1717
Mary Groom died intestate; Nathaniel & son Thomas agreed with William Webb to Purchase; endorsed to be granted to said Thomas Groom.
