- Scope and ContentThe extent is stayed and Payne has been ordered to exhibit his english bill versus Wilmer. Payne’s counsel is of the opinion that the assignment to the Crown was void at law and there are no grounds therefore on which to frame the bill. Will his Lordship refer this opinion to the Barons of the Exchequer. Buckhurst sees no reason to undo the original order.
