- Scope and ContentFranklin Harbett, on receiving £20 from Henry Lamb of Kettering, attorney for Thomas Wright Richards, on account of his claim under the said Deed and for account delivered under alleged will of deceased, undertakes to deliver possession of house and premises at Toddington purchased by the Reverend Lindsey Cooper Cooper, clerk, but without prejudice to claims against Thomas Wright Richards in the funds arising from the estate of the deceased. In case of dispute, to be settled by a gentleman mutually agreed between the parties. Henry Lamb (on behalf of Thomas Wright Richards) undertakes that accounts will be rendered within two months from this date. mark of Franklin Harbett signature of Henry Lamb Witness: John Garland, Ampthill 19 January 1852. attached: receipt of ‘Frankling’ for 30 shillings under Mr. Harbett’s will, from Mr.Lamb. 20 June 1850. Receipt of John Garland, Ampthill, for £20, to Mr. Henry Lamb, to be handed to him on Friday morning next ‘on his enabling me then to give possession of the premises mentioned in the memorandum annexed’. 19 January 1852. Receipt of Franklin Harbett and Susan Ogden to Mr.Lamb for £15 on account of their expectant share in monies arising from estate of late William Harbett. Also memorandum that said Franklin Harbett and Susan Ogden have authorised Mr. Henry Lamb to retain out of their shares, the sum of £15 ‘this day advanced to us on account’. 1 August 1851
