- Scope and Contentconcerning the sale of Mr. Harbett’s live and dead stock. In 1843 the late Mr. Harbett conveyed the whole of his property to trustees, for himself for life, and then on the trusts mentioned in the deed. Therefore any will made subsequently, only passed such property as Mr. Harbett acquired after the deed was made. Mr. Harbett made a will about six months before his death in which he appointed Mr. Hunt as executor. Mr. Richards is acting trustee under the deed. They have agreed to appoint Mr. Gough as auctioneer to sell the whole of the effects. Money arising from sale of property in deed - to Mr. Richards. Will property – money to Mr. Hunt. Disputed property – money to be paid into a bank. Handbills and catalogues to be carefully worded. Will he meet Mr. Richards the day before the sale to arrange the conditions on which the grass crops are to be disposed of.
