- Scope and Contentnow in consideration of £750 paid by John Richardson to Henry Letch Henry Letch with his wife, Martha, by two surrenders of even date, surrendered to Lord of said Manor -- messuage in Tanner’s End and close (1 ½ acres) -- 20 acres 1 rood arable (to which Henry Letch was admitted on the surrender of Richard Smith) -- 23 other acres arable in the common fields of Toddington (to which Henry Letch was admitted tenant on the surrender of Mathew Iremonger and John Potts at a court on 27 February 1768) all which premises were previously in the occupation of Mathew Rawlins, then Thomas Willison, since Thomas Chapman and now of Joseph Willison to use of John Richardson various covenants as to title and peaceable enjoyment
