    -- farmhouse and land (70 acres) at Westoning and 3 acres in Tingrith, late in the occupation of Mr. Stanley at rent of £135 but since Lady Day 1849 in the occupation of Reverend W. Campion. Rent paid to Mr. Smith of Crawley, the mortgagor of the estate -- house at Toddington with orchard (2 roods), close (1 acre), another close (3 acres 2 roods) in Mr. Harbett’s own occupation. Franklin Harbett has lived in the house. -- 16 acres pasture in Toddington in Mr. Harbett’s own occupation at his decease. Grass and herbage sold by auction up to Michaelmas 1847. -- Workhouse property - tenements and 3 acres 2 roods land at Toddington, mortgaged to a client of Mr. Green of Woburn for £400 and supposed to be worth about £500. It is near the road leading from Toddington to Dunstable and at Mr. Harbett’s decease was in the occupations of Thomas King, Joseph Shelton and Mark Breed -- cottage at Toddington in the occupation of Arthur Evans, let for £6. Described in Mr. Harbett’s settlement deed as freehold cottage near highway from Toddington to Ampthill -- piece copyhold land at Toddington (1 acre 2 roods 38 poles). ‘Is not this freehold?’ and the piece mortgaged to Mr. Handscombe’s client for £100 and which is described as a newly enclosed piece arable containing 1 acre 3 roods 35 poles.
