Franklin Harbett’s conduct in quitting the house is unjustifiable – he is anxious to receive as large a share of the property as possible, while doing everything in his power to delay payment and increase the expense. Will be at Ampthill by first train to settle accounts and deciding day to complete Cooper’s purchase
