Letter from Evelyn Chaldecott, sent from ‘Selwood’ Kasauli Is going out tomorrow morning to hear Gilbert sing. Is worried that Miss Rivett is not strict enough with her pupils. “She seems to teach them such extra-ordinary things”. Worried that at eight Gilbert is too young for “As You Like It”. Cannot really have a tutor as with Willie away at Roorkee there would be a scandal. Willie may not be home as expected as he may have to take place of an ill man and go to Faridkot.
