    Declaration by Mary Eaton of Stevington, widow, aged 72: - she knew Richard Page of Stevington, blacksmith, deceased who possessed a cottage with a garden at the back in Church Street, which was formerly in the occupation of George Houghton, then Richard Smart, since William Aspley, then Thomas Simpson, now William Barton; - Richard Page made a distress on the goods of George Houghton for rent; - that after the death of Richard and his wife Lydia the property passed to Thomas Pool, their eldest son and that he held the hereditaments until his death Mary Eaton signed by mark before Ezra Eagles of Bedford, solicitor
