Eileen Dollimore, The Bungalow, Billington Road, Leighton Buzzard, wife of Stanley Edward Dollimore trading as a ladies hairdresser at 28, High Street, Leighton Buzzard, under the style of ‘Eileen Pike’ Whereas: 1. is the owner of 28, High Street, forming part of Leighton House, and wishes to demolish same 2. is occupier of the said premises. 1. intends to convert a building in the High Street adjacent to the said premises occupied by 1., being plan 3584/4 of 15 January 1957 already agreed between 1 and 2. [The plan is not present in this document]. Hereby agreed: that when the building is completed 2. will vacate 28, High Street and surrender the right of occupation. 1. will grant to 2. a lease of accommodation in the new building, being the back portion of the new building, at the rear of the portion marked ‘jewellers shop and workshop’ on the said plan. The lease to be for 21 years, with the right of the tenant to determine the same at the end of 7 and 14 years.
