Scope and Content
Mr A.G. Underwood is the grandson of Albert Edward Grimmer, the founder of the Company, and he built by hand what is believed to be one of the county's first cars to be powered by steam. The Flitt Monoplane referred to is now in the Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden (Bleriot), which he acquired in 1913 and rebuilt.
