- Scope and Content-- 7 acres arable glebe land in Ickwell with all tithes and tenths of corn, grain and hay on the meadow near the river from Biggleswade bridge to Beeston meadow; and on the pasture in Upper and Nether Caldecot, and on 2 pightles belonging to 2 cottages in Northill, occupied by John Field and Thomas Tingey, all parcel of the impropriate rectory; also all tithe etc. from Coneygreen close (10 acres) belonging to Ickwell Bury; Butcher’s field close (28 acres); close of pasture (8 acres), belonging to 5 cottages in the occupation of John Huckle, William Albone, John Wheeler, John Darnell and Widow Lands; and on 3 closes of pasture called the Pightles (21 acres), adjoining John Darnell’s cottage; 2 closes of pasture called the Rotten meadow and a hopground (7 acres); 2 closes of pasture called the Horsepastures (9 acres); Broad mead close (19 acres); the Berrywood; late purchased by John Harvey from George Barnardiston; all in Ickwell; also all tithes from: 2 closes of pasture called the Church field (40 acres), and 2 called Wood close (38 acres); Great Linnings close (40 acres); all in the occupation of John Whitfield gentleman and in Ickwell, purchased by Harvey from Barnardiston, and all called the Lease grounds; also all tithes from: 3 closes of pasture called Ladyfields (30 acres), in the occupation of William Pateman; the Further Linnings or Lesser Linnings (30 acres), in the occupation of John Ibbott and - Ravensden; Doctor’s pasture and St. John’s piece, and 2 closes called Mary Slades, in the occupation of Edward Sparkes (100 acres); in Ickwell.
