Scope and Content
To sister Elizabeth wife of Robert Audley Britain of Stanstead Abbotts, Hertfordshire, clerk, all lands etc. whatsoever, for life, then to nephew Robert Audley Britain and wife Elizabeth; on condition that sister Elizabeth or nephew or whoever is entitled to the premises raises by mortgage, 6 months after death of testator, money to pay legacies:- to uncle Charles Mordaunt £100, daughter of uncle Charles, £200, to aunt Lyles of Hitchin £100, to each of her children, £100, to niece Mary Mordaunt, £20 to buy her mourning, to John Mitchbourne, son of Edward Mitchbourne, late of Blunham deceased, £50, and to poor of Over Caldecot and Nether Caldecot, £10.
Executrix: sister Elizabeth. Witnesses: William Sims, Jona[than] Trayhearne, John Morrell.
