Basmey [Basmead], Eaton Socon (one called the close containing 12 acres of land and meadow an the other called Galleyn Close containing 4 acres of pasture, which two closes Nicholas Luke, one of the Barons of the Exchequer, grandfather of Nicholas Luke party hereto, deceased, purchased of Sir John Gascoyne, knight) excepting and reserving to Nicholas Luke all woods, underwoods and hedgerows growing or being in or upon the premises.
