[Copy] inquisition t. Edward I. Wahulle: John de Wahulle, lord of the village and patron of the advowson, holds in chief of the King by barony, and the village of Wahull is of the barony and is rated at one knight’s fee.

Podington: Reginald de Grey holds 1½ knight’s fees in Podington in chief from John de Wahulle of the said barony, and pays 11 shillings per annum to the ward of Buckingham castle, 8 shillings to the sheriff etc. He has 3 carucates in demesne, which contain 180 acres land and 2 acres meadow, 8 acres wood and a windmill. He holds 11¼ virgates in villeinage, each owing 1 mark per annum or “opera” to that value, and the holders of these cannot marry their daughters without the lord’s consent.
