"Memo. that I Robert Faldo feodarie of the county of Bedford have perused the writings and conveyances of Randall Manning of London merchant whereby I do find that Randall Manning his father lately deceased...and the said Randall the son were jointly seized or possessed of and in the lands in Cardington (Carrington)...of an estate or term of 500 years which said heretofore taken in extent(?) by the Kings Majesty against Sir William Fleetwood and Sir Miles Fleetwood knights, and by his said Majesty assigned...to Sir Jerrett Harvie knight and by the said Sir Jerrett assigned...to the said Randall Manning the father and Randall Manning the son jointly......Whereby I could not find that any right of livery...might acrue to the Kings Majesty by the death of Randall Manning the father"
