    Probate Will of Thomas Hill of Wootton. To Rebecca Woolhead "which liveth me" £20. To Edward Hill of Wootton £10. To John Hill son of above £10 at 21. To Abraham Hill of Wootton £5. To William son of Abraham £10. To John Hill of Wootton sr. 4 ac. of land bought from Mr. Bressey, which he is to choose out of the land bought, on condition of payment of £42 to Mr. Monoux. To Michael Silley jr. of Elstow 2 ac. to be chosen for him by his father out of the 6 ac. left by John Hill. To poor of Wootton 40s. "I have a desire that the house and lands my father left me should go as he gave it by deed". To Mary Homer of North Crawley, Bucks., and John Hill of Wootton, sr., executors., all lands and goods unbequeathed in Wootton. To them power to sue for £185 lent to George Fitzgeoffery of Barford; if they get the money legacies to Edward Hill, son John, Rebecca Woolhead, Abraham and William Hill, poor of Wootton to be doubled, remainder to executors. To Mary Homer sister and mother Silby all household goods except best pair of sheets and best pillowbear "which lieth in my coffer in the chamber above" which he gives to Rebecca Woolhead, and 1 great brass pan to John Hill sr. of Wootton.
