  • Title
    Will [copy] of William Foster of Bedford, Doctor of Laws, in his 87th year. To friend William Farrer of Biddenham, messuage and lands in Great Barford and malting thereunto belonging; messuage in Little Dean's Yard, Westminster, divided into two, leased from Dean and Chapter, in occupation of Mrs Jone Upton, widow, and Mrs Horden, widow; for benefit of grandson Sandra and granddaughter Barbara Foster. Sandra is to receive annually or quarterly payments only; and if he marry Constance Saunder, granddaughter of Mrs Manley of St Paul's, widow, or if he mortgage the property, he is to have neither part nor benefit in what testator has given him. If grandson Thomas shall be incapacitated by the wars, allowance shall be made him out of the estate. [See also previous wills FN 1113, 1115 and 1119.
