i) Stephen Thornton ii) William Brown i) leases to ii) -messuage etc -139 acres 27p land called Southmills Farm -messuage etc -107 acres, 3rds 16p late in occupation of executors of-Allen -messuage etc -land belonging (-acs) in Everton cum Tetworth and known as Gibralter Farm now in occupation of ii) term-12 years from 11 October 1848 rent-£605 p.a. various covenants as to husbandry (similar to CD 1055) signatures both endorsed witness William Thomas Chapman, 31 Jan 1849 Also endorsed with memorandum as to the death of Stephen Thornton on 26 August 1850 leaving Godfrey Thornton as heir of Allens Farm and South Mills Farm, and Stephen Edward Thornton as Devisees of Gibraltor Farm. To complete the division of the estates ii) relinquishes to Stephen Edward and Edward Thornton the residue of the term affecting Gibraltor Farm and the Thorntons agree to relinquish ii) from payment of rent of £120 signatures of all various witnesses, 17 May 1852
