Richard Holland boasts that he will get the best farm in Ragnall. . Hopes her mistress overcomes all her adversaries. General family news. Has been to see Mr. David Gould, whom William Rogers spoke to. He has written the particulars of what was said:- William Clarke told Rogers that if he would be a witness that Mrs Taylor and Mr. Mellish had been lawfully married he would pay him about £40. Rogers said he could do no such thing, as he was certain they never were married.
