Declaration by William Antony of Byfield, late canon as above, to the effect that the said lease was sealed “in Lent next before the surveying of the seid monastery, which was surveyed immediately after Ester next after ensuyng, and seith that the seid monestry was suppressed in the day of the visitacon of our Lady next after that followyng, and seith that the seid leasse was delyvered after by the prior unto oon of Syr Thomas Leson’s servants as their dede”.
