- Scope and ContentDear Sir, We thank you for your letter of March 21st and acknowledge receipt of your cheque for £173.10.-d. With regard to Passports, we would request you to check these to ensure that they are still valid and providing they are British Passports issued in the United Kingdom and describing you as British Subjects and also endorsed for travel to all countries in Europe, they will be quite in order and no visas will be required. In accordance with our estimate of March 14th, the "V" form amount required for these arrangements is £24.10.0d per person and we would ask you to be good enough to request your Bankers for two such "V" forms and to forward them to us at your convenience. On the other hand, if you would like to forward your passports to this Office in order that we may check their validity we can, at the same time, arrange for the issue of the Forms "V" without your approaching your Bankers. At the same time we would be glad to arrange the issue of 10/0d each in Italian money if you will forward to us your remittance for £1.2.0d together with the enclosed forms completed and signed. Yours faithfully, Thomas Cook & Son Ltd, per:- R Bray. Booking Hall.
