Scope and Content
Has sent Isabel Pitt a copy of the will & codicil, and also a copy of the settlement deed. Miss Pitt has written to Miss Rankin stating that she would resign all her right under the will. An assignment is being prepared for her to sign. Miss Rankin seeks agreement for her life to be put in the lease for the Drayton & Askham estates. Fears Mellish had a lot of debts in his personal estate. Knows of one mortgage and thinks there are annuities. Also makes reference to residing at Ragnall.
