Johnson is of the opinion that the settlement is a good one, and agrees with Clough that Eliza should not act under the will, and Clarke should deal with matters. Clarke has proved the will and codicil. Eliza should strive to keep Miss Pitt's friendship and send her a copy of the will & codicil.
