Letter to Marjorie Balaam [Secretary to the Fund] from the Rev. W. J Gallop [Walter Judkins Gallop, Rector of Flitwick, 1937-1947, Licensed Preacher of the Diocese of St. Albans thereafter] 5, Townsend Drive, St Albans, concerning the 1939-1945 memorial tablet in Flitwick Church. Has allowed matter to escape his memory. No recent contact with architect Martin Travers. Has today seen the Secretary of the Diocesan Advisory Committee who suggested that he write to them so they can ask the architect when he is going to submit a design. Had hoped that the tablet would be fixed before he left Flitwick.
