    i) Robert Lindsell, Biggleswade, gentleman ii) John Smith, Stevenage, Hertfordshire, farmer iii) Ruth Dillamore, Girtford, Sandy, widow iv) William Thomas Chapman, Biggleswade, gentleman v) Thomas Yoxen, Northill, grocer reciting will of James Dillamore, late of Caldecote, Northill, deceased, dated 21 Oct 1828 whereby he bequeathed the whole of his property to wife- -iii) - for life, and then to be divided between their 2 children, James and Sarah Dillamore. Said James, the father, died on 22 October 1828. Will proved (PCC) on 12 May 1829 Said James Dillamore was indebted to James Bates of Biggleswade, inholder, in £100 and £10 interest upon a prommissory note dated 8 Nov 1827 at 5% interest and in various sums to others by deed of 1 Feb 1830 said debts were paid off and in consid of further sum to £140 iii)demised to ii) for 99 years. - all that farm or estate containing --- Rogers Field (arable) (31acres 8p) --- Thorn's Field (arable) (22 acres 2 rd 12p) --- Long Field (arable) (25 acres 2 rds 20p) --- Home Field (arable) (22 acres 2 rds 29p) --- Home Close (pasture) (16 acres 3 rds 23p) --- The Marsh on the north side of the brook (21 acres 37p) all which pieces of land are situated at Upper Caldecote and contain tog 140 acres and are in the occupation of George Inskip --- messuage or tenement or outbuildings then lately erected by James Dillamore on said farm to be redeemed on payment of £500 plus interest reciting policy of assurance of 15 June 1835 of the Norwich office by which £300 is payable on death of iii). Annual premium - £9 10s 6d. now ii) wishes to receive his £500 also iii) wishes to borrow a further £201 13s 6d so in condis of £500 paid to ii) by v) at request of iii) i) at request of v) assigns and ii) confirms to iv) - debts as in margin and interest and benefit under will of James Dillamore, in trust for v) [total - £360] and in consid of further £201 13s 6d paid to iii) by v) ii) and iii) assign to v) - above land for remainder of term of 99 years also i) and ii) assign and iii) confirms to v) - said policy of assurance interest payable - 5% p.a. signatures i) to iv) endorsed receipts Witnesses: Edward Argles, Biggleswade Thomas Christmas, Sandy, 3 July 1838 also endorsed Acknowledgement of receipt a) Elizabeth Ann White (late Eliazbeth Ann Yoxen, spinster), wife of Alfred White, Northill, farmer William Thomas Chapman, Biggleswade, gentleman (executors of will of Thomas Yoxen, deceased dated 2 Dec 1843 and proved in PCC on 20 July 1844) b) James Dillamore Thomas Clarke and wife Sarah (late Sarah Dillamore, spinster), Ickwell, farmer (said James and Sarah being devisees in fee under will of their father, James Dillamore, deceased, dated 21 October 1828 and proved PCC on 12 May 1829) a) have received from b) - £192 17s being balance of within mentioned principal money of £701 13s 6d and all interest due a) also agree to transfer residue of said term and to discharge said premises from the repayment of said sum signatures: William Thomas Chapman for himself and Mrs White Witness: [illegible]
