- Scope and ContentEliza has been to York to consult with the Recorder. Would like to come to Ipswich to visit Isabel 'my kind and generous benefactress'. Miss Mellish and Mr Clarke also went to York. Rather dissatisfied at being entirely at Mr. Clarke's mercy. Wished Miss Mellish to be as satisifed as possible, and thought if she came to York, she would have the opportunity to consult anyone she chose. Mr Fowler, who transacted business for Charles Mellish is to make enquiries into the state of Mellish's affairs. He will also visit Isabel. The recorder has prepared the draft conveyance, and Mr Fowler will deliver it to Isabel.
