Fifty-eight A4 card-mounted maps, with contents list, greatly enlarged from 25” (1:2500) base map so that only three or four streets are shown on each one. These maps seem to have been used in the field, with annotations such as
• “1879-1880 Res” , “Surgery”, “Ins Company - Inter War? Good Cond”, “Coal & Seed Merchants 1800 type”, “Burnt out”
• car parks, recreation areas
• parking restrictions, one-way-traffic flows
• traffic lights, bollards
