- Scope and Content- Cottage in Water End, Langford, with close pasture and hempland (1 acre) formerly in occupance John Dennis and since of Anthony Thody - 8 acres arable in common fields of Langford, formerly in occupance Richard Wheeler and since of Anthony Thody - farmhouse with yard, orchard etc in Pepper End, Langford, North- Three Tuns - 3 1/2 acres in Holm Field - close pasture in Langford calle Bayes (3 acres) lying on South of said farmhouse, formerly in occupance John Ell - arable in parish fields of Langford (formerly estimated at 10 acres but since said to contain 11 acres 1 rod) In Holme Field --- 3 acres 3 rods In Middle Field --- 3 acres 1 rod In Sand or South Field --- 4 acres 1 rod all formerly in occupance Richard Franklin and since of John Ell. Also reciting that on 19 April 1810 Mark Norman was admitted tenant on the surrender of Sir John Fragg and Dame Anne his wife, to - 1 acre 1 1/2rods land - 1 acre leys in common fields of Langford - 14 acres arable in common fields, formerly the land of Thomas Crouch - 6 acres arable in Langford, formerly the land of John Squire - 2 1/2 acres arable in common fields of Langford, formerly estate of John Wright - toft whereon messuage formerly stood - Town End Close, once adjoining and then includinf said toft (1 1/2 acres without toft, 2 acres 1 rod 28poles with said toft) - 2 acres 1 rod arable in Langford parish fields all said premises were formerly in occupance William Cox and then of Anthony Thody. By the enclosure award of 1829 the following lands were allotted, in place of above and in lieu of manorial rights in Manor of Holme. In Holme Field - 6 acres 1 rod 38poles in lieu of 8 acres arable late Freemans - 9 acres 12poles in lieu of 11 acres 1 rod arable late Beans - 2 acres 20poles in lieu of 1 acre 1 rod 20poles arable and 1 acre leys late Sir John and Lady Fagg's - 13 acres 2 rods 36poles in lieu of 14 acres late Sir John and Lady Faggs - 5 acres 2 rods in lieu of 6 acres late Sir John and Lady Fagg's - 2 acres 2 rods in lieu of 2 1/2 dispersed acres late Sir John and Lady Fagg's - 2 acres in lieu of 2 acres late Sir John and Lady Fagg's said pieces adjoin each other commencing on South West side and contain 41 acres 1 rod 16poles, but subject to a right of carriage and drift way of 20feet along North side thereof to North West corner of an allottment next awarded to Mark Norman and with a like right of carriage and drift way along North side of allottments to William Norman to Mill Lane North George Nigel Edwards, Esq East allottment next awarded to Mark Norman South Mark Norman South West William Norman. Reciting also will of Mark Norman dated 2 Oct 1837. Now grandson, Mark Norman, is admitted to above premises
