    i) Hon Andrew Foley, Hazeley, Oxon (surviving devisee and executor of will of Anne Foley, widow) ii) John Prickett, Highgate, Middlesex, surveyour, and wife Ann (once Anne Hardy, spinster grand -daughter of John Tovey, formerly of St Martin in the Field, Middlesex, gentleman, deceased, and great-niece of Michael Tovey, formerly of St Mary Staining, London, gentleman, deceased) iii) William Joseph Lockwood, Dews Hall, Essex, Esq iv) George Rickards, Basinghall Street, London, gentleman v) Richard Smith, same place, gentleman. Reciting sale, bankruptcy of John Tovey and purchase by Richard Woodhouse who was acting as agent for Robert Foley but no conveyance made to them of freehold or surrender of copyhold estates. Copyhold estates held of Manor of Langford (afterwards enfranchised) were surrendered by Mary Thomas, only sister of James Thomas, to said Robert Foley who was admitted to said property. Purchase money of £1460 being considerablly less than sufficient to pay Robert Foley what was due to him, said Robert Foley was immediately let into possession of all said property. Reciting deaths of many of the former parties interested in the property. Heirs of Mary Thomas, sister of James Thomas, are not known. Reciting will of Anne Foley and death of Dorothy Dowdeswell on 4 Feb 1804 iii) was 25 on 12 May last, and being desirous to receive the estates rather than have them sold and receive the money now ii) with consent of i) release and demise to iii) -freehold messuage in Langford -freehold close adjoining called the Home Close -all other freehold property of John Tovey in Langford iv) to be trustee for iii) if necessary ii) covenant to levy fine also ii) in obedience to trusts of wills of Robert and Ann Foley, release to iii) -messuage, or site where one formerly stood, with close of pasture adjoining and cottage on site of former cottage (4 acres) -Great Pyes Close -37 acres arable -close pasture in Flesmore End (Flexmore End) -2 acres formerly part of lands of Robert Robinsons farm -49 acres arable -close of pasture in Church End, Langford (2 acres) -close of pasture formerly belonging to messuage of Robert Robinson -3 acres 3 rods arable, lately held of the Manor of Langford -messuage, in Langford, within sold Manor -Horne Close -Little Pyes Close -Pye's Close -messuage and Killingsworth Pightle -13 acres arable -4 acres arable -messuage situate in Langford within the Manor -1 acre Pasture adjoining -10 1/2 acres arable -6 acres arable also to perfect the title of iii) to the copyhold property mentioned in surrender of 27 Mar 1745 i) releases to iii) -all right etc in copyhold property held of the Manor of Holme cum Langford and Rectory of Langford i) directs that heirs of James Thomas shall hold property on trust for iii) i) also assigns to v) ---above premises for remainder of term of 1000 years in trust for iii) Sigantures i) and ii) endorsed witnesses: Richard Francis Onslow, Archdeacon of Worcester; William Whitton; James Armdell, 17 & 18 Dec 1815, also endorsed with Quitclaim a) Edward Thomas Foley, Stoke Court, Herfs, Esq (Eldest son of Hon Edward Foley, late of Stoke Court, who was eldest son of younger son Thomas Foley (afterwards Lord Foley, Stoke Court) b) William Joseph Lockwood. Reciting will of James Thomas. No residue remainded for purchase of real estate b)has agree to sell said estates. However doubts have arisen as to his right to the estates so for ratification of the title of b) a) releases and for ever quitclaims to b) -all property in main deed and any rights, claims etc signature a) Witnesses: Robert R Bayley, 10, Basinghall Street London.
