    i) John Tovey and wife Elizabeth ii) Michael Tovey iii) James Thomas reciting previous release. Copyhold property had been surrendered but no fine has yet been levied, said £936 has not been repaid iii) on 12 September1745 lent a further sum of £200 to John Tovey secured by a Bond of the same date iii) on 5 Aug last advanced to John Tovey the further sum of £120 secured by a Bond, so there is now due to iii) for interest on said sums-£83 2s making a total owed of £1303 2s) which is agreed to be a principal sum and to carry interest at a rate of 5% p.a. iii) has lent a further £400 secured by a demise of even date on land at Eaton Socon and Sudbury, Beds, for 99 years and Interest at 5% p.a. now to better secure said sums of £1303 2s and £400, is agreed that freehold premises in Langford, and also copyhold lands shall be chargeable with payment of said sums on 30 July next, and interest at 5%p.a. Covenant to levy fine ii) is appointed by John Tovey as his attorney to secure the interest by receiving the rents on the above property. Surplus rent and profit to be paid to John Tovey for 2 years only after which time to be used to pay off principal.
