Surrender by John Barefoot (by Thomas Norton, bailiff) in the presence of Thomas Hille and Robert Gardiner, of a messuage in Blunham between a messuage of St. John’s College, Cambridge on either side; next the Barford road; to the use of son William, who is to pay £5 to brothers Robert and Laurence, and allow mother Katherine to live in the kitchen (inhabitare sive mansionem habere in coquinario); or else to pay her 10 shillings a year. Rent 3s. 8d.; fine 3s. 8d.
