    i) Sir John Everitt, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, Knight, (only son of John Everitt, late of Hitchin, Hertfordshire, deceased, who was divisee in will of John Whitehurst, late of Hitchin, gentleman, deceased) ii) Henry Bean , Langford, yeoman iii) Josep Halstead, Hitchin, Herts, gentleman (trustee for ii)) consid-£1490 paid by ii) to i) and £102 for timber (total-£1592) ii) afterwards agree to sell to Peregrine Piper of Henlow -Scroops Close (10 acres) held of the Manor of Holme with Langford, and 2 cottages erected on said property ( which said close is part of property purchased by ii) of i)) ii) has also agreed to sell to Samuel Pryor of Langford, victualler-2 acres 2 rods being a tenement, orchard and close of Flexmore End held of the Manor of Langford ( another part of purchase from i)) i) has surrendered said 2 closes to Peregrine Piper and Samuel Pryer, as appropriate i) has also surrendered into hand of Lord of Manor of Langford -farmhouse in Pepper End -homestead and orchard belonging -3 1/2 acres in Holme Field -Bayes close -10 acres arable in parish fields now in occupance John Ell now i) releases to ii) -40 acres land in Langford Parish fields of Langford, late in occupance George Dilley and now of John Ell (as described in deed of release of 18 July 1764 whereby said lands were conveyed to John Everitt) -3 acres 1 rod in Langford Parish and fields, --1/2 acre in South Field in the Sallowes furlong, --1/2 acre in Longland furlong, --1 rod in Holme Blake, -- 1/2 acre in Middle Field lying on Barton Hill, -- 1/2 acre in Fenn furlong in Middle Field, -- 1 rod in Ashmore, -- 1/2 acre in Musden Signature i) Endorsed receipt Witnesses: John Hooper, Dunstable Joseph Eade
