    i) Thomas Clark, Shipton, Winslow, Bucks, farmer, and wife Mary (once Mary Weston, spinster); George Leigh Clark, Stanton St Johns, Oxon, late yeoman, but now out of business; Edward Clark, 5, Artillery Place, Woolwich, Kent Green, grocer; Benjamin Shrimpton, Preston Bagott, Warwicks, miller, and wife Elizabeth (once Elizabeth Clark, spinster); George Jennings, 129, Lower Marsh, Lambeth, Surrey, hatter, and wife Sarah Weston (once Sarah Weston Clark, spinster); Rebecca Flowers Clark, Shipton, spinster (said Mary Clark is a cousin of James Weston, Biggleswade, gentleman, deceased, and George Leigh Clark; Edward Clark; Elizabeth Shrimpton; Sarah Weston Jennings and Rebecca Flowers Clark, are the five children of Thomas and Mary) David Thomas Willis, Winslow, gentleman; George Cowley, Winslow, surgeon ii) Elizabeth Weston, widow of said James Weston, Biggleswade; George Henry Cooper, Clifton, gentleman; Robert Garland, Hornsey, Middlesex, architect (executors of said James Weston). Reciting that James Weston, deceased, on 25th May 1835 entered into an engagement with Joseph Weston, then of Little Horwood, Bucks, but afterwards of Leamington Priors, Warwicks, deceased ( another cousin of James Weston, and brother of Mary Clark) to pay £1200 in favour of Thomas and Mary Clark and their children, on his death, and £70 p.a. until then. The said £70 p.a. was paid from 1 July 1835 . Joseph Weston died without requiring repayment. James Weston died in May 1850. By his will dated 11 Dec 1848 he appointed his wife, Elizabeth, and friends George Henry Cooper and Robert Garland as executors. No written proof of the above engagement can be found. However ii) as executors, agree to pay over said £1200, having met all outstanding claims. Payment is to be made to David Thomas Willis and George Cowley. Now first nine persons release ii) from any claims against them regarding said £1200. Also if written evidence comes into their hands regarding said engagement, will deliver it up to ii) . If when engagement is discovered it is found that it was for a greater sum than £1200, amount of excess shall be payable as if this release had not been made.
