    Reciting surrender by Thomas Chamberlayne and wife Elizabeth, of Biggleswade, on 19 September 1781, of: - Griggs' Shop, now in occupance William Hughes and Thomas Heath - cottage in Biggleswade between house formerly belonging to Drage (William?), and the Dog in a Doublet, now in occupance John Gurney to use of John French, Biggleswade, gentleman and Jeremiah Bryant, Biggleswade, draper, in trust for sale. Proceeds to discharge their costs and charges involved in sustaining bond to John Harvey , Sheriff of the County, dated 17 Sept 1781 for said Thomas Chamberlayne's appearance in Court of Common Pleas at the suit of John Boston. Remainder to be paid to Thomas Chamberlayne. Now Thomas and Elizabeth Chamberlayne, John French and Jeremiah Bryant surrender above property to use Edward Bryant, innkeeper,
