    i) Adolphus Meetkerke, John Harvey Esq`s, James Cecil Grave, Henry Baker, clerk (4 of the surviving turnpike trustees) ii) Francis Pym, John Campbell Esq`s William Wilshere, Robert Porten Beachcroft, clerk, Nathaniel Vincent Herbert,merchant, iii) Isaac Hindley iv) William Brunt [also referred to in body of deed as Samuel Brunt] reciting purchase of part of the Spectacles Close by lease and release of 17 and 18 Feb 1807 [CD 564 and 565] for use for gravel for the Stevenage to Biggleswade turnpike road. At a meeting at the Sun Inn, Biggleswade,on 22 Jan 1812, ii) as trustees,ordered sale of said land. i) was purchaser of both lots at price of £460 plus £32 12s 6d for the timber. Now in consid of £246 12s 3d paid by iv) to iii) i) at request of ii) release to iv). -4 acres being part of Spectacles Close, together with right of common etc.(freehold part) also in consid of further sum of £246 6s 3d pd by iv) to iii). Adolphus Meetkerke on behalf of the other trustees agrees to surrender copyhold part of said property into hand of Lord of Manor of Biggleswade,to use of iv).
