The Cottage,Groombridge, Kent. My dear friend The Lord Chief Justice’s line died out in the 18th century and there is no evidence that we are in any way connected with him. I am very glad to hear that Charlie goes on well. He will find it more difficult to persist than to begin and at times temptations will be hard upon him.
