My Dear Friend,
Your note has just arrived. A line in haste before I go to London to say that I saw Willie yesterday. He assured me after very careful examination of Charlie that there is nothing organically wrong with him, but thinks he wants a good long rest. If he can go to a sea-trip so much the better, but he should not wander about in England at this time of year especially alone. He will be much improved by a total change of scene under sunnier skies.
Willie said he would not hav counselled this if he had not understood from Charlie that such a diversion is possible. Urge him to it.
