Scope and Content
(i) John Bricheno of Short Mead Farm, Biggleswade, Gentleman.
(ii) John Winn of Biggleswade, gentleman.
(i) to (ii).
-- --- A piece of arable in Hitchmead in Reeves Stitch Furlong (4 acres 1 rod 32 poles) abutting in part on lands late of Edward Rudd now of John Foster and East on Hitchmead Furlong now occupancy John Steward;
--- ---Cracus Piece, as in CD173, since occupancy John Samm, now John Steward.
(ii) to (i).
--- ----A piece of ground (39 perches), part of Little Simon Piece, Biggleswade Common East, the road to Potton South, the remainder of Little Simon Piece West and Broom Balk North, together with the cottage etc. thereon.
--- ---A piece of arable (4 acres 3 rods 12 perches), in upper Furlong in North Field, land of John Bricheno North East and South, the road leading to Biggleswade West.
Recites: (i), admission to lands to be exchanged, 16,17 April 1790, on Surrender and will of John Samm, gentleman, grandfather of
aforesaid John bricheno, deceased.
(ii), admission to land to be exchanged, 20,7 April 1787, on surrender and will of John Winn, his father deceased.
John Bricheno's tenancy being for life only the exchage to be made cannot be legally effectual until one of his sons shall attain 21; in the meantime the premises are to be occpied as though the exchange were effectual.
