The whole to be converted into ready money for the payment first of all his debts ""according to their nature and priority"" and then of monetary legacies to his granddaughter and grandsons Elizabeth, William, John, Richard and George (daughter and sons of his late son Edmund Rudd) and to Elizabeth and Ann, his natural daughters by Mary Smith deceased.
