    Six presentments as to the “customes used and continewed”; they relate largely to Howland’s holding. “Howlands att the wood” should send 2 haymakers annually at hay time to help the lord; also has common of pasture for 6 cows, 4 horses, 10 sheep. “Howlands att the Stone” has common of pasture for 8 cows, 2 bullocks, 5 horses, 30 sheep. These two tenements also have the right to pasture 10 and 30 sheep respectively at the Annunciation with the lord’s flock, which sheep the lords of the manor received into their fold and kept them until they left folding,
