- Scope and ContentAttested copy deed to declare the uses of a fine Parties: (i) Edward Burr of Hockliffe, innholder, (only son of John Burr, late of Westoning, yeoman by Elizabeth, his wife (formerly Elizabeth York, widow) and Mary, his wife; (ii) John Stone of Leighton Buzzard, draper Operative Part •To bar and destroy all estates in tail (i) agreed to levy a fine sur conizance de droit come ceo etc. to (ii) for (a)-(g) Property: (a) messuage, malting, dovehouse and premises in Westoning; (b) adjoining close of five acres; (c) eleven acres of arable dispersed in Cranfield Field, Westoning, except half an acre shooting down to Cranfield Bridge; (d) two and a half acres of meadow in Cranfield Meadow, Tingrith; (e) half an acre of sward at Wheelers Leys, Westoning; (f) two acres of turf in Low Meadows, Westoning; (g) messuage in the occupation of John Harper in Bedford Saint Paul with the Golden Lion Inn N and messuage formerly in the occupation of James Chamberlain S; (h) two erected messuages in Castle Lane, Bedford, Saint Paul formerly in the occupation of Bailey Munns and Richard Rose Witnesses: •John Furness; •David Willis; •Charles Willis Copy examined 12 Nov 1807 by Whitley Sale and Titus Knight
